Ingredients for Easy Chewy Caramel Popcorn
- 1 cup Imperial Light Brown Sugar
- ¼ cup Karo Light Corn Syrup
- ½ stick Land o’ Lakes Butter
- 2 tsp milk
- ½ tsp McCormick All Natural Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1 bag of Orville Redenbacher’s Naturals Simply Salted microwave popcorn
How to Make Easy Chewy Caramel Popcorn
Prepare microwave popcorn according to directions on package.
Butter a clean cookie sheet and spread the popped popcorn on it.
In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, butter, and milk.
Cook the buttery sugar mixture on high heat while stirring to dissolve ingredients.
Bring mixture to a rolling boil and then allow it to boil for 1 minute.
Remove from heat and quickly stir in the vanilla extract.
Drizzle the caramel sauce mixture onto the popcorn.
Allow popcorn to cool.
