Ingredients

  • 12 eggs
  • ½ cup of mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • *Put 12 eggs in a pot of water (making sure the water covers them completely).
  • *Bring to a fast boil for 5-6 minutes on medium high heat.
  • * Pour out the hot water and fill with cold water.
  • *Crack, peal, and cut each egg lengthwise in half.
  • *With a spoon, gently scoop out the yolks into a medium sized mixing bowl.
  • *Add 1/2 cup of mayonnaise and 1 tbsp of mustard to the yolks.
  • *Use an electric mixer to blend into an icing like consistency.
  • *Next scoop all of the yolk mixture into a Ziploc baggie and snip a very small triangle off the corner of the bottom of the bag to squeeze the mixture into your cut egg whites.
  • *Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

For fancier deviled eggs you can use icing tools.
*Optional: top with paprika, chives, or fresh dill.
